About the client

Lebenshilfe Südtirol is a social and non-profit association that supports people with disability in their efforts to lead a self-determined life. Central values are inclusion, equal opportunities and self-determination. The association runs facilities and offers social services of various kinds throughout South Tyrol. People are regularly visited and accompanied on their way.

About the project

Up to now, the visit logs of the clients were recorded in analogue form and then entered manually into an Excel spreadsheet. Monthly reports were also prepared manually. Double entries and a high error rate were the order of the day. The goal was to transfer these steps into an intuitive user interface with automated report generation.
The client management platform is a web portal that enables client visit logs. During the visit, Lebenshilfe staff can log in to the web application using a tablet or mobile phone and fill in the visit log.
The web application's interface adapts to the end device providing an intuitive use of the software. The data is stored in a central database and may be retrieved for automated reports. Excel files with integrated formulas and PDF documents with calculations are kept as permanent downloads.

Conclusion

The customer management platform enables efficient data and access management. It is easy to use and always available. Thanks to the digital logs, only one entry per single log is necessary. Not only does that benefit time saving but also a pleasant working environment, enabling to put the focus onto the clients and their needs.
